I’m Gunner Lee, a 20 year old California-based designer, artist, and creative. I am a passionate learner that aims to blend technical ability with artistic expression to create unique pieces. My work, primarily industrial design-focused, consists of furniture, leather goods, lighting, and other physical products. Additionally, I work with 3D modeling and animation, as well as graphics and branding. Whether it be block printing, 3D printing, electronics and soldering, or woodworking, I am constantly exploring new mediums to grow my toolkit and integrate them into my work.
When I’m not in the studio hammering, drilling, cutting, building, or breaking something, I’m out backpacking, climbing, or playing basketball. Having grown up in Berkeley, California, I have developed a deep appreciation for food, nature, and the dynamics of a diverse, vibrant city.
Inspired by the warmth and love for my home and upbringing, my work often features a color palette that evokes feelings of comfort. Overall, though, my goal is to create works that are not only artistic explorations, but products that serve a real purpose — my work is meant to be used and interacted with, providing people with physical experiences.
