A proposal for the unused room at USC Roski school of Art and Design. This proposal shows what the abandoned storage room could become, showcasing a redesigned interior that operates as a dedicated space for Roski students to do work, collaborate, and relax between class periods. This solution also transforms the forgotten locker space into a place of student promotion and community.
Collaboration
The central table gives students a work surface that caters to a wide variety of work, whether it be a large print or simply working on one’s laptop. The table would be kept clear, promoting student activity and collaborative interactions.

Storage
Dedicated shelving for excess paper and laser cutting supplies allow the materials to be sorted and packed away neatly while being both visually and physically accessible to students.
Excess Materials
The trade in system addresses used and forgotten materials within the Roski community. Here, students would be able to more easily access supplies they may need while encouraging a more sustainable material exchange.
Student Promotion
The locker wall would be converted into a space with integrated display cases. These cases would hold student work, promoting student work while encouraging others to submit work.
